NEW DELHI, India (December 20, 2023) – Leading automobile company Hero Motocorp announced the appointment of Rachna Kumar as its new CHRO from January 2024, as incumbent COO and CHRO Mike Clarke resigns from the position.

Clarke will remain with the company until October of next year, in order to ensure a smooth transition of duties to Kumar.

Kumar brings in over 20 years of HR expertise to her new role, having worked at Whirlpool, Trent Ltd., The Coca-Cola Company, Castrol and other organisations previously. She has proven herself in building agile and optimal organisational structures, driving talent strategy, performance management, learning and development, as well as fostering progressive industrial and employee relations.

Welcoming Kumar into the leadership role, Niranjan Gupta, CEO of Hero MotoCorp, said: “I am delighted to welcome Rachna to the Hero Family.
